Earlier this evening, on Twitter, I posted the question: "Anyone read 'Prince of Thorns' by Mark Lawrence? Any good?" without really expecting many (if any) responses. I'm not being unduly negative, merely realistic - I don't have a huge number of followers and of that number, probably only a small fraction are readers of fantasy novels. So you can imagine my surprise (and amused delight) when I received the following reply:
